Aalto University School of Chemical Engineering

School of Chemical Engineering centers its main activity at research and education in the science and technology of industrial conversion processes of renewable and non-renewable natural resources. At our school the focus in developing bioeconomy is in the research and development of chemicals, fuels, fibre products and materials from renewable biomass utilizing biotechnical, chemical and thermal processing technologies.

The School provides education in technology for M.Sc. and Ph.D. graduates who work in diverse positions in Finland's largest industrial sectors in chemical, biotechnology and forest industries. The research and teaching are supported by an extensive international academic and industrial cooperation network.
