BIOECONOMY contains research infrastructures of Aalto University and VTT in the fields of process chemistry, industrial biotechnology and material sciences aiming to bio-based chemicals, fuels, materials and fibre products. The infrastructure includes research laboratories, characterization and analysis equipment, modelling and simulation tools, and extensive selection of pilot plants.
